With all that going around…

Just want to say…peace!!

I may sound mean but with all this chaos going around us, there are some positive things popping.

Mother nature is breathing and enjoying, I feel good about it. All the rivers are cleaning up on its own because of less human activity. I don’t recall when did I last see constellation in the sky, well I can see clearly up in the sky today.

Oh then those birds who are singing all day long. Empty roads and flyovers not a great sight but guys let’s give this speedy life some rest.

Families spending more time together. Now I am realising what are we missing in life. Sitting in the balcony and sipping cup of tea together everyday is special. Cooking together and laughing on each other’s failed dish is nothing but creating memory.

Kids are not getting enough of their parents on all days unlike earlier.

Oldies getting much deserved love, care and attention to health by their kids. People are taking out time to call their parents and keeping check on them.

May be this  is a reminder to humanity that we are still nothing when it comes to nature. A small virus which we can’t even see with our naked eyes has gulped our half of the year and still going strong.

Lastely, I want to salute the front line soldiers: medical staff, defence, scientist who are working day and night to save our life.

I wish and hope this humanity and love developed within us in last couple of months for each other stays with us.

Remember – “we are not on earth, we are earth”

Matte it!

I bought three new liquid lipsticks with matte finish and I am in love with all three. I have wheatish skin colour and it suits me well. Take a look!

Lake Absolute mild mauve

Perfect when you just want to keep your lip colour simple. Doesn’t leave any patches and stay long. You don’t need to apply it again after meal.

Roots – role breaker

Name says it all. Break the rule with this dark shade for a bold look. Love it! Also, do moisturise your lips before you apply this shade. This will help in retaining the moisture otherwise it can make your lips dry.

Roots – swiss kiss

Just perfect for for daily look. I like the fact that it comes in small bottles so that you can finish it soon before you lose it( I lose my lipsticks very often).

3 New summer nail colours to try

OK, so today I am going to review three new shades of Revlon nail paint.

I got these from Health and Glow costing Rs. 120 each.

I loved this blue shade and its perfect for any function or daily office wear. accessorise your hand with metal belt watch and wear this shade on your nails. Look at this:

Next up is Orange shade which personally I didn’t like it may be my skin colour and this shade didn’t complement each other. but here is what it looks like:

Last one is nude shade which I simply loved :). Again perfect for office going girls and specially for the wedding like occasions. have a look:

That day I also got few more Revlon makeup product. Will share my views on that too in my next post.

Till then happy painting!
